Declan had his 6 month appointment yesterday.
Weight: 15lbs 14oz (21st percentile)
Height: 26 1/2in (54th percentile)
Head: 17 1/4in (51st percentile)
We have increased our eating of food to twice a day, starting today, much to Declan's dismay. He is very attached to his bottle and would much rather have one than eat.This morning Declan had oatmeal cereal. The first bite is always a shocker.
Corin was eating breakfast as well, so Declan was getting distracted. 
Is he showing any signs of sitting up yet? Quin will sit on his own for like a minute or so, but is still very wobbly. And I still can't get him to stay on his tummy for very long, the stink. Oh, well. I was just wondering. :)
ReplyDeleteDeclan is REALLY wobbly sitting up. He'll be leaning forward for a little bit then try to sit straight up, but he stiffens up and falls backwards. He's a stinker too on his tummy, he much rather be on his back and doesn't want to roll, wants me to put him on his back. He LOVES to stand, our doctor was very impressed with his standing and how he LOVES to jump. They sure to have their own little personalities!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds just like Quin! Except for the jumping part... but he does stand well. I know, personalities are blossoming at this age and it's so fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteBlake sleeps on his stomach and has since very early on. I think he started rolling over at like 2 months because I refused to lay him on his stomach :) We went for our 6 month last week and Blake is tiny compared to Declan (like in the 10% for height and weight). So we are upping all the food too, and not cutting back any on the formula. He love to sit if you are holding him but won't hardly try it on his own.
