I've heard a lot about the second child getting less pictures taken of them, etc. I will admit I have not taken as many pictures of him when we are out at an activity (ie. the Jubilee) and I do feel bad about it. Well, today Declan experienced some of the bummers of being the second child. Of course, both boys were hungry for lunch at the same time. So, I told Corin to wait while I fed Declan. I fed Declan about half his bottle (Corin was complaining about his tummy being hungry for a quesadilla), so I set up Declan on the couch with his bottle propped up. After getting Corin's quesadilla made, cucumbers with sauce (ranch dressing) and prayer done, I went back to Declan to find that he fell asleep.
Then, Corin was upstairs in his room for nap/rest time. I was trying to put Declan asleep and Corin comes down the stairs to say he pooped in his potty (I put his potty in his room during naptime) so I had to put Declan down so I could go clean it out. He just laid quietly on the pillow wrapped up with is pacifier. He LOVES this blanket. Everytime he sees it he gets all excited about it. I LOVE this blanket too, my Beehives and some of the other YW and leaders signed it and gave it to Declan as a baby gift.
