Air Show

Today we went to the Air Show at the "Jeffo Airport" We got FREE tickets from a former Target co-worker of Shane's. He LOVES Corin and thought Corin would really enjoy it! His name is Clark and he is a big guy. One day when we were checking out Corin says to him "You have a BIG tummy" I was embarassed and apologized to Clark for it. Clark responded by laughing saying "Its totally fine. He's honest and right. I did this to myself" This was our first weekend of Shane having his new job and having weekends completely free so we took FULL advantage of hanging out together as a family in the morning. Previously Shane would have to work on Sat. at Target til 12:30pm so if we ever did anything on Sat. it was in the afternoon, which didn't always work well because the boys would be crabby and also Shane was so tired from working and being up at 3AM that he really didn't want to do anything, but would do something if I really wanted to.
As we were walking from our parking spot to the Airport planes were flying. Corin kept asking if he could fly one so we talked about when he got bigger and when to Aviation school he could fly one. He was very excited to see all the different planes. Some of them he was even able to get into.

Marines troop transport plane, I think. Adam would probably know much more about it.
Just a big open space with jump seats.

Corin absolutely LOVED sitting in this Air Force glider! He could have stayed in this ALL day!
The guys were SO nice! They talked to Corin and told him all about how it works and what all the controls did. Maybe Corin will join the Air Force one day. He did say he wanted to fly a plane.

We saw this big Marine blow up balloon. Shane told Corin that is what Adam is, a Marine. And Corin replied "Uncle Adam's a balloon."

Soviet Mig 15
I told Shane we should have brought some chairs (even though it would have been a pain to carry them around and who knows how long we would have actually sat in them) and his response was "Who needs chairs when you have a Daddy"
And the ground and stroller! Sadly the only pictures I got of Declan was during a snack as we watched the planes flying overhead and doing tricks. It was crowded so I would have gotten nervous with him walking around by himself and trying to run aways and it would have been a HUGE fit to get him back in the stroller if we would have taken him out to go inside the planes. So, we just left him in since he was happy riding around. Once he's in, don't take him out. He did keep pointing at the planes when they were in the air!
